MY APPROACH

You want life to be different and better, but you just don't know how to make it happen. We all strive to be our “best" selves, yet we can sometimes get stuck and feel unsure about how to move forward. Where do you begin? What steps do you take?

Wherever you are at, whatever you are struggling with, we will work together to truly understand who you are and help you become who you wish to be. There really isn't a "one size fits all" approach as you are a unique individual. We will incorporate a variety of techniques and your care will be based on what you personally need.

Life is stressful. Now more than ever. Together, we can find solutions to help you navigate the difficulties of being human. We will discover your strengths. Along the way you may laugh, you might cry. We will definitely learn many new things about you as we partner to build a more meaningful, purpose-filled life - one you're genuinely excited to wake up to each day.

As a mental health counselor and psychotherapist I seek to be creative and compassionate. I strive to be positive and encouraging, yet also practical and solution focused. Clients say I bring warmth, passion, and a sense of humor to our sessions.

Change is hard, I know this firsthand. But the end result is well worth it. I look forward to being with you on your healing journey and I would love to help you reconnect to yourself.

My Guiding Principles

  • GENUINE COMPASSION

We’re only ever doing our best. Finding harmony and achieving our goals begins with gentle insight and awareness. The past has influenced our internal emotional world and effects how we interact with the world around us. Condemning ourselves keeps us stuck. Learning to have empathy towards ourselves is the beginning of building a new life.

  • AUTHENTIC CONNECTION

Disconnection and discontentment lead us to be out of balance and often results in anxiety, unease, and stress. When we increase consciousness and begin meeting our needs, all facets of our life begin to transform. Being proactive about connecting with ourselves and others brings harmony to us and allows us to live the life we’ve always wanted.

  • CURIOSITY

A spirit of curiosity helps us understand how we’ve gotten to this place in life. By learning about our past, our present circumstances, and also our dreams for the future, we begin to know who we are now and who we wish to become. We discover why we think and feel the way we do. This helps us break unhelpful patterns and allows us to make lasting changes.

Counseling can help you simplify the complexity which has limited you. Together we can spark your creativity, refocus your attention, and increase your resiliency.
